Q & A
Some of the most commonly asked questions.
Don't see your question? Please feel free to email me at Cassie@cassiekrausephotography.com
1. Do my pets need to be perfectly obedient?
Absolutely not. Is it helpful? Of course but not a requirement. We will work together to get that ideal image.

2. Do my dogs need to be off-leash?
Nope. In fact, I prefer your pets stay on leash, especially if we are in an outdoor location. It's safer for your pet and anything we may encounter. However, if your dog has a reliable sit/stay and recall, they can be off leash.

3. How do I receive my images?
You will receive a link to your own digital gallery, which will be active for at least one year. If I have to remove your gallery, I will remind you to download all your images 90 days before doing so.

4. Where are the sessions located?
I do not own an indoor studio, so we can go wherever. Most outdoor areas are free, whereas some studios or other locations require a rental fee. The cost of your session will include the rental fee. The total cost will depend on where you'd like your session.

5. What should I bring to the session?
All pets are different, and they like different things. I bring treats and toys, but sometimes clients' pets do not like what I have to offer. I recommend bringing something that your pet enjoys, like their favorite treat, food, toy,or anything they enjoy.

6. Do I have to be in the pictures?
You do not have to be in the pictures at all. I have done quite a few sessions where it's just the pets and sometimes I only capture the pawrents' feet, hands, or back.

7. I have a lot of pets, how can they be in the same picture?
The more the merrier! I can create a beautiful family photo where every pet is involved and the best thing is that they do not have to pose at the same time. I set up my camera, assign a place for each pet and we take the picture one at a time. Then in post-production, I layer each image to make it seamless.

8. How do I reschedule or cancel our session?
You can always text my cell (provided at booking) or email me. Please give at least 24 hours' notice, but I understand if an emergency comes up.

9. What should I wear?
That depends on you. I am all about comfort—whatever makes you feel your best and most comfortable. I always recommend checking the forecast for outfit ideas. I will say that solids or mild print fabrics ( plaid, floral etc) are easiest to work with on post-production.
